Release and recharge with a fun and relaxing form of yoga-themed body movement. We will link movement with focused breathing to create a sense of being centered, grounded, balanced and relaxed. Movements are intended to release holding patterns caused by our creative activities. Yoga’s benefits include, among many other health benefits; released muscle tension, improved posture, increased flexibility and mood boosting effects.
This class is about feeling good in a supportive environment and having fun without getting all worn out. We often start each class by lying or sitting down, move into a series of postures that benefit every muscle in your body with no pain, and we end lying down, all while listening to softly playing, pretty melodies. Yes, it is that easy and peaceful so if it calls to you, please join us!
No fancy yoga fashion/work-out gear is required. Any comfortable clothing that you can freely move in while protecting your modesty will work. Classes are non-competitive and accessible to all body types and all levels of experience. Yoga Mats, blocks, chairs, and other props are available.
