Learn to practice a safe, fun, and relaxing form of yoga that links focused breathing with body movement to create a sense of being centered, grounded, and balanced. Among other benefits, yoga helps to release muscle tension, improve posture, and boost our mood!
Our Yoga class is designed for musicians and artists, who use their bodies in many different ways according to the demands of their art and work. As requested by studio artists, each class may start with a 10-15 minute Q & A session, related to the body/muscle/movement concerns of individuals. Interested class members are encouraged to bring in musical instruments/tools of their trade, so we can explore the safest, most efficient use of the body while playing or creating art. Class will include special hand stretches and other tailored movements. After the Q &A, class will run 50-60 minutes.
