Full Circle is an adults-only (18 & older only!) studio, with most students 30-80, including many "bucket-list retirees" who have always wanted to learn to play the fiddle or violin. The only thing better than playing music on your own is getting together with other, like-minded adults to play tunes together – while enjoying snacks, friendship and even the occasional glass of wine.
Violin & Fiddle Class for Absolute Beginners A few times each year we run our Absolute Beginner Group class for the complete novice. You'll learn the basics of playing, and six easy tunes, with lots of time for questions and fun games to build skills. All materials included. Weekly 90-minute classes, usually on Monday nights.
Fiddlers' Frolics This super-fun group class is perfect for novices who have taken our Absolute Beginners class or for "back to music" players who have been away from the violin for years. You'll enjoy playing short snappy tunes – some with multiple parts – and learn skills training through music. Weekly 90-minute classes, usually on Thursday nights. Accompanied by local professional guitarist Cathy King
Traditional Celtic (Slow) Session Ever wanted to play a fiddle in an Irish pub? Here's your chance to play traditional Celtic music – only at a really slow pace, with no pressure. Mandolins, flutes and whistles are also welcome to join our fiddlers. This is not a class; there's no instruction. We just play and enjoy the fun of the music. Weekly 90-minute classes, usually on Wednesday nights. Accompanied by local professional guitarist Cathy King
