Over the course of my life I’ve learned the importance of finding a teacher who can meet you where you are and then guide you onward. I wanted to thank you for telling us the story about your own struggles with learning to play the violin. I am extremely grateful that you did not give up on it. I would have missed the chance of having the most amazing / best teacher I have ever had in my life. You are amazing.
You challenge me and others way about what we thought might be possible. I never thought I could play an instrument. In my mind I was too stupid and uncoordinated to do such a thing as this. You have helped me bring that part of me out, and it is making me a better person because of it. Thank you.
I also wanted to thank you for suggesting I try being in the spotlight with a solo in Fiddlers Frolics. I have not been that scared since 1991. Something told me, "Don't worry, you got this," and something took over my hands, my mind – and all there was, was me, the bow and the violin. It was an experience above and beyond. I loved it. (P.S.
